Preview: Canby Lancers vs. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers
Canby and Tracy-Milroy-Balaton are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2018, but not for long. The Canby Lancers will head out on the road to face off against the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Canby has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 250 points over their last four contests.
Canby scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They took their contest at home with ease, bagging a 75-32 victory over Renville County West. Given Canby's advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 135th, while Renville County West is ranked 315th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Tracy-Milroy-Balaton made easy work of Red Rock Central on Thursday and carried off a 69-46 win.
Canby's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Tracy-Milroy-Balaton, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.
Canby strolled past Tracy-Milroy-Balaton in their previous matchup back in February by a score of 69-55. The rematch might be a little tougher for Canby since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
