Soccer Recap: Mountain Ridge Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Mountain Ridge was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Salt Lake Academy Griffins by a score of 1-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Mountain Ridge haven't been shut out since back in March.

Mountain Ridge is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-13. As for Salt Lake Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-4.

Mountain Ridge didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-2 loss against Riverton on the 2nd. As for Salt Lake Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Corner Canyon on the 2nd.
