After low-scoring totals in their previous six contests, Sinton brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. Everything went their way against the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws on Monday as the Sinton Pirates made off with a 16-5 victory. The Pirates' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Sinton's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Jourdanton, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

When Sinton and Jourdanton next hit the field, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Sinton will try to stop Medina Valley's five-game winning streak when they meet at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Jourdanton will challenge Robstown and their six-game winning streak at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday.
