Soccer Recap: Crescent Takes a Loss

Crescent was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Pendleton Bulldogs, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Crescent can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 201st, while Pendleton are ranked 67th).

Crescent's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Pendleton, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1-1.

Coincidentally, Crescent and Pendleton will both be playing Walhalla the next time they take the pitch. The Tigers will host the Razorbacks at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bulldogs will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
