Whitehouse's game last Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Marshall Mavericks with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 12 matches by ten runs or more so far this season.
Taylor Morris made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched. Morris was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.
In other batting news, Shilee Yutterman was incredible, firing off two home runs and three RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Paige Goodell, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base.
Whitehouse lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Marshall didn't launched any home runs.

As for Marshall, they will welcome Nacogdoches at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Mavericks will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: the Dragons will have lost 11 straight heading into Friday's contest.
