Baseball Recap: Abbeville Takes a Loss

Abbeville made up a huge gap compared to their last game against McBee, but they still couldn't quite topple them. Abbeville fell just short of McBee by a score of 5-3 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss Abbeville has suffered since March 21st.

Abbeville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Trey Deason, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Abbeville has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 19-8 record this season. As for McBee, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-5 record this season.
