Basketball Recap: Blue Earth Takes a Loss

Blue Earth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Fairmont Cardinals and fell 71-24. The Buccaneers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cardinals from their previous meeting back in January of 2024.

Blue Earth's record is now 0-9. As for Fairmont, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

When Blue Earth and Fairmont next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Blue Earth will try to stop Belle Plaine's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Fairmont will square off against Tri-City United [Montgomery-Lonsdale/Le Center] and their eight-game winning streak at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
