Baseball Game Preview: Bowsher Rebels vs. Rogers Rams

For the second straight game, Bowsher will face off against Rogers. The Rebels will be playing at home against the Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bowsher is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.2 runs per game this season.

Bowsher's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. Everything went their way against Rogers as they made off with a 15-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rebels considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Not much got past Landon Imhoff, who gave up just a hit and racked up 11 Ks to keep Rogers off the board. Imhoff is becoming a predictor of Bowsher's success: when he allows at most one hit the team is 2-1 (and 7-8 when he doesn't).

On the hitting side, Tyler Gray was a standout: he got on base in five of his six plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Bowsher is 6-2 when Gray posts two or more runs, but 3-7 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Sean Hartford, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.

Bowsher kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2025.

Bowsher's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-9. As for Rogers, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.

Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Bowsher has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .457. However, it's not like Rogers struggles in that department as they've averaged .490. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
