Softball Recap: Ness City Comes Up Short

Ness City lost against Stanton County on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Ness City came up short against Stanton County, falling 19-3.

Ness City dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Stanton County has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Ness City will head out on the road to face off against Spearville at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stanton County, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Lakin at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
