Baseball Recap: Spring Grove Comes Up Short

Spring Grove lost to Northeastern back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rockets fell 9-4 to the Bobcats.

Jacob Dull and Ashton Parks stepped up to the plate in a big way. Dull got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two RBI, while Parks went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and two runs. Spring Grove is 2-1 when Parks posts two or more runs, but 0-5 otherwise.

Spring Grove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Northeastern, their record is now 2-3-1.

Spring Grove wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-2 win against Central York on the 10th. As for Northeastern, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against William Penn on the 10th.
