Volleyball Recap: Kingston Comes Up Short

Kingston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West County Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Kingston actually scored more points across those four sets (88-86), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-20, 11-25, 25-23.

Kingston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-13. As for West County, the victory snapped their losing streak at five matches and leaves them with a 5-13-1 record.

Kingston has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Grandview on the 6th. As for West County, they will take on Bismarck at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
