Brayden Booher Delivers Best Effort of Season

On Thursday, Lakeview got the W thanks in part to Brayden Booher playing the best football he has all season. Booher rushed for 96 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries, and also picked up 78 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also made eight total tackles (2.0 for loss) and defended two passes in addition to snagging three interceptions.

Lakeview's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-4. Booher and Lakeview will take on Cambridge Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least 118 Rushing Yards from Brett Kania

Cambridge Springs was led to victory by Brett Kania, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Kania's rushing production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 118 rushing yards.

Maplewood's probably not too fond of Kania given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in November of 2023 (the last time Kania saw the Tigers), he rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries.

Nick Solderich's Big Game Leads Greenville over Saegertown

Nick Solderich's big game helped extend Greenville's winning streak to seven on Friday. Solderich turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 71 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries, while also throwing for 155 yards and a touchdown while completing 85.7% of his passes.

Greenville's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Solderich and Greenville will challenge Maplewood at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
