Football Recap: Preston Starts Season with Defeat on the Road + How To Watch

Preston had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They lost 40-20 to the Hampshire Trojans on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Knights in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost five in a row.

Despite the loss, Preston still got an impressive performance from Slaton Manko, who rushed for 135 yards, and also threw for 72 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Preston and Hampshire will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Knights will take on rival North Marion at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Hampshire is set to challenge their familiar foe Frankfort at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
