Basketball Recap: Heritage Picks Up Sixth Straight Win on the Road

Heritage's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They secured a 52-47 W over the Rustburg Red Devils. That's more bragging rights for the Pioneers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Heritage pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Rustburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-7.

Coincidentally, Heritage and Rustburg will both be playing Amherst County the next time they take the court. Heritage will head out to face Amherst County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Rustburg will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
