Garden County strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They enjoyed a cozy 28-14 win over the Stuart Broncos.

One reason for the win was Garden County's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Kyan Kramer, Javis Underwood, and Lane Brenneman, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Garden County's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Stuart, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Garden County and Stuart will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Eagles will square off against rival South Platte at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Stuart is set to challenge their familiar foe Santee on Friday.
