Basketball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Fort Stockton's Fifth in Last Six Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seminole, Fort Stockton was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Monahans Loboes by a score of 47-39. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Loboes, too.

Fort Stockton is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Monahans, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-16.

Fort Stockton will look to defend their home court on Friday against Pecos at 6:15 p.m. As for Monahans, they will head out on the road to square off against Greenwood at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. Greenwood will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Monahans surely won't give up without a fight.
