Volleyball Recap: Union Wildcats vs. North Point Grizzlies
Union lost against North Point on Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Grizzlies. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
North Point's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Libbie Meek, who had 17 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Meek has posted over her last seven matches. The team also got some help courtesy of Miley Poeling, who had three digs and two aces.
Union's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for North Point, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 15-2.
Coming up, Union will face off against Pacific at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Point, they will challenge Fort Zumwalt North at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
