It was a good run, but Harpeth unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Greenbrier Bobcats by a score of 10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Indians have suffered since March 6th.

Aaron Higgs made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in May of 2024. Chance Ford was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

Harpeth's loss dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Greenbrier, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8.

While Harpeth had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
