Volleyball Recap: Classical Prep Comes Up Short

Classical Prep lost against Bishop McLaughlin Catholic back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Hurricanes.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-12, 25-19.

Madelynn Zimmermn paced Classical Prep's offense, picking up ten kills. Zimmermn got some help from Anabel Christianson and her 11 assists. Christianson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Bishop McLaughlin Catholic was led to victory by Sabrina DeMarco and Crista Panzner. DeMarco had six digs and five aces, while Panzner had 14 digs.

Classical Prep's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Classical Prep wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-1 victory against Families Instructing Students HomeSchool on the 26th. As for Bishop McLaughlin Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Tampa Catholic on the 26th.
