Flag Football Game Preview: San Leandro Pirates vs. Piedmont Highlanders

The San Leandro Pirates will face off against the Piedmont Highlanders at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. San Leandro's defense has only allowed 12.8 points per game this season, so Piedmont's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, San Leandro turned things around against Hayward on Thursday. They came out on top against the Farmers by a score of 28-18.

Meanwhile, a well-balanced attack led Piedmont over Mt. Eden in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. The Highlanders took down the Monarchs 25-6. That 19 point margin sets a new team best for the Highlanders this season.

San Leandro's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Piedmont, their win bumped their record up to 5-8.

San Leandro was able to grind out a solid victory over Piedmont when the teams last played back in September, winning 13-0. Do the Pirates have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Highlanders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
