The Lewis Cass Kings are taking a road trip to take on the Manchester Squires at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Manchester took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Lewis Cass, who comes in off a win.

Lewis Cass will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Friday, then bounced right back against Northfield on Monday. Ruth (Amma) Fitzhugh made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.
