Soccer Recap: Clark Comes Up Short

Clark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Doral Academy Red Rock Dragons. While losing is never fun, Clark can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada soccer rankings (they are ranked 46th, while Doral Academy Red Rock are ranked ninth).

Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Doral Academy Red Rock, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 9-1-1 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clark will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Western at 5:45 p.m. on the 29th. As for Doral Academy Red Rock, they will face off against Palo Verde at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
