Soccer Recap: Kaiser Comes Up Short

Kaiser lost against Colony two weeks ago and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Kaiser Cats fell just short of the Colony Titans by a score of 1-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cats came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 123rd, while the Titans are ranked 268th).

Kaiser moved to 6-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Colony, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2-2.

Kaiser will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Colton at 5:45 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Colony has already played their next game, a 5-1 win against Temescal Canyon on the 27th.
