Basketball Recap: St. Stephens Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Eagles on Tuesday. The St. Stephens Eagles fell 53-46 to the Fort Washakie Eagles. St. Stephens was not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Fort Washakie earlier this season, when they won 61-58.

St. Stephens' loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Fort Washakie, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Stephens will host Burlington at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Fort Washakie, they will face off against Little Snake River at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
