With a playoff game on the line, Osceola rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Freedom Patriots with a sharp 3-0 win.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-17.

Osceola got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Mason Morash out in front who had 11 digs and two aces. Morash is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last four games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Gianna Kopczynski, who had seven digs and two aces.

She wasn't the only good server: Osceola was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 12 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in September.

Despite the loss, Freedom still got an impressive performance from Averi Addison, who had 17 digs.

Osceola has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for Freedom, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-4.

Osceola will play host again on Saturday to welcome Wesley Chapel, where the match is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. Wesley Chapel is coming into the match with four straight wins on the road, so Osceola will have to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. Freedom does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
