It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Monacan can now relate to. They fell just short of the Atlee Raiders by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Monacan's defeat signaled the end of their eight-game winning streak.

Monacan's loss dropped their record down to 13-5-1. As for Atlee, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season.

Monacan and Atlee are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Chiefs will take on Jamestown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Jamestown will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Monacan surely won't give up without a fight. As for Atlee, they will square off against Warhill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
