Basketball Game Preview: Oak Park Northmen vs. Central Indians

The Oak Park Northmen will challenge the Central Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Oak Park's favor as the squad sits on eight straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Central has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.

Last Saturday, Oak Park didn't have too much trouble with Parkway South as they won 51-37. Given the Northmen's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 16th, while the Patriots are ranked 144th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Central came up short against Fort Osage on Friday and fell 34-25.

Oak Park's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Central, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Everything came up roses for Oak Park against Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 63-32 victory. Does Oak Park have another victory up their sleeve, or will Central turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
