Basketball Game Preview: Casey-Westfield Warriors vs. Lawrenceville Indians

Casey-Westfield's tournament run continued when they took on Paris on Saturday. Casey-Westfield was dealt a 59-24 defeat at the hands of Paris. Meanwhile, Lawrenceville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 56-24 loss at the hands of Richland County. That's two games in a row now that the Indians have lost by exactly 32 points.

Addeline Sanders was Lawrenceville's leading scorer, having posted nine points. Sanders also led the team in rebounds with six.

Lawrenceville's loss dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Casey-Westfield, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-15.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Casey-Westfield has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 27.9 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Lawrenceville struggles in that department as they've been averaging 26.3 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
