Football Game Preview: Bruce Trojans vs. Strayhorn Mustangs

The Bruce Trojans will venture away from home to square off against the Strayhorn Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bruce has given up an average of 26.4 points per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Bruce lost to Myrtle at home by a 36-20 margin.

Although Bruce took the loss, they still got scores from Niqun Townsel, Jakobie Hatchett, and Joshua Long.

Meanwhile, Strayhorn ended up a good deal behind Water Valley on Friday and lost 42-28.

Strayhorn has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Bruce, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.

Bruce beat Strayhorn 22-13 in their previous meeting back in October of 2018. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Trojans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
