Baseball Game Preview: Mountain Range Mustangs vs. Riverdale Ridge Ravens

Mountain Range is preparing for their first league matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will host the Riverdale Ridge Ravens at 4:00 p.m. Mountain Range has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Mountain Range came up short against Denver South on Saturday, falling 13-3. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jackson Kalkhorst made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

Meanwhile, Riverdale Ridge didn't have quite enough to beat Penn-Trafford on Wednesday and fell 4-3.

Riverdale Ridge saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayce Sanchez, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Riverdale Ridge has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. Mountain Range's loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
