Basketball Game Preview: Lenoir City Panthers vs. Heritage Mountaineers

The Lenoir City Panthers will challenge the Heritage Mountaineers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Lenoir City earned a 58-51 win over Sequoyah.

Meanwhile, Heritage was able to grind out a solid victory over Campbell County on Friday, taking the game 59-48. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mountaineers.

Heritage's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-9. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.9 points over those games. As for Lenoir City, their victory bumped their record up to 4-15.

Lenoir City came up short against Heritage in their previous matchup back in January, falling 63-50. Can Lenoir City avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
