Steinbrenner will face off against Calvary Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Steinbrenner's pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so Calvary Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Steinbrenner will roll into the game after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any runs on Saturday, then bounced right back against East Bay on Saturday. Everything went Steinbrenner's way against East Bay as Steinbrenner made off with an 11-1 win. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Warriors' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Kendal Jackson looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one hit in three consecutive appearances.

Meanwhile, Calvary Christian put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Lake Mary by a score of 5-1.
Morgan Spinner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up six Ks.
On the hitting side, Morgen Talley was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.
Steinbrenner's record now sits at 8-3. As for Calvary Christian, their record now sits at 9-0.
Tuesday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Steinbrenner hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .321. However, it's not like Calvary Christian struggles in that department as they've averaged .325. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Steinbrenner suffered a grim 9-2 defeat to Calvary Christian when the teams last played back in March of 2023. Can Steinbrenner avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
