Basketball Recap: Rapid River Takes a Loss

Rapid River lost against Stephenson on January 6th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rapid River Rockets were dealt a 72-15 defeat at the hands of the Stephenson Eagles.

Rapid River dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Stephenson, they moved to 7-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rapid River will head out to face off against Carney-Nadeau at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Stephenson, they are taking a road trip to square off against Mid Peninsula at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
