Volleyball Recap: Camden County Triumphs

It's playoff time, and Camden County had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Manteo Redskins 3-2. The Bruins haven't had any issues with the Redskins recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Camden County who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 18-25, 25-23, 21-25, 15-11.

Among those leading the charge was Camryn Underhill, who had 12 digs and seven assists. Those seven assists gave her a new career-high.

Camden County's victory bumped their record up to 22-5. As for Manteo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-8 record this season.

Camden County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-2 loss against Holmes on the 25th. Manteo does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
