West Bend East extended their losing streak to three on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 3-14 in the process. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ripon Tigers. The Suns were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Mason Sommer put in work no matter where he played. He struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off three hits. Sommer was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.
