Football Game Recap: Chilhowie vs. Virginia

After losing to Virginia the last time they met, Chilhowie decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Chilhowie took their matchup against Virginia on Friday by a conclusive 37-7 score. Followers of Chilhowie probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.

Chilhowie's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 22 first-half points. Meanwhile, Virginia couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 22-0 heading into the break. Chilhowie put the contest away in the third quarter with 15 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense. The win bumped their record up to 6-0. The defeat dropped Virginia's record to 3-2.

Next week Chilhowie take on Rural Retreat at 7:00 PM. As for Virginia, they will face off against Abingdon.
