Ashbrook has been on a difficult stretch since their win on March 17. They came up short against the Garinger Wildcats on Wednesday, falling 5-0. Ashbrook were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Garinger apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Ashbrook's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10-1. As for Garinger, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7-1.

Looking ahead, Ashbrook will venture away from home to face off against Kings Mountain at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Garinger, they will welcome North Mecklenburg at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
