Battle Mountain won the last time they faced Vail Mountain and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Huskies put the hurt on the Rangers with a sharp 8-1 win. The result was nothing new for Battle Mountain, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Vail Mountain from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Jakob Methvin led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

The victory made it two in a row for Battle Mountain and bumps their season record up to 9-2-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two matchups. As for Vail Mountain, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
