Softball Recap: MacArthur Generals vs. Decatur Eisenhower Panthers
MacArthur put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 20-10 margin over the Decatur Eisenhower Panthers. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for MacArthur considering their two-run performance the match before.
Felicia Meyrick was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and eight unearned) runs off four hits. Meyrick was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last three times she's played.
