Duchesne has gone a perfect 10-0 against North Summit recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Braves at 2:00 p.m. Duchesne is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.9 runs per game this season.

Duchesne fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Beaver on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Beavers by a score of 9-8. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by just one run.

Prezley Farnsworth was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Claire Anderton, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, North Summit was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They came up short against Rowland Hall, falling 23-5.

TRINITY RIGBY made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. KIMEE STOLLE was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

This is the second loss in a row for Duchesne and nudges their season record down to 17-7. Even worse, they were so close both times: the losses came by an average of only one runs. As for North Summit, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

North Summit's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Duchesne hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .422. It's a different story for North Summit, though, as they've only averaged .259. Will they be able to contain Duchesne's hitters?

Everything went Duchesne's way against North Summit when the teams last played back in May of 2022, as Duchesne made off with a 15-0 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
