Basketball Game Preview: Clark Chargers vs. Faith Lutheran Crusaders

Clark hasn't had much luck against Faith Lutheran recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Clark Chargers will be playing at home against the Faith Lutheran Crusaders at 6:30 p.m.

Clark is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 35th straight game dating back to last season on Friday. They were dealt a 64-14 loss at the hands of Democracy Prep Agassi Campus. While losing is never fun, the Chargers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nevada basketball rankings (they are ranked 91st, while the Blue Knights are ranked first).

Meanwhile, Faith Lutheran had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Grizzlies out 49-46. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Crusaders have posted against the Grizzlies since February 27, 2016.

Faith Lutheran's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-11. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for Clark, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-23.
