St. Stephens is 9-1 against West Iredell since December of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The St. Stephens Indians will look to defend their home court against the West Iredell Warriors at 7:45 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, St. Stephens turned things around against Foard on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 77-60 victory over the Tigers.

Meanwhile, West Iredell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 76-72 heartbreaker at the hands of North Iredell. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (61), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

West Iredell's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for St. Stephens, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.

St. Stephens came up short against West Iredell in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, falling 65-55. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of West Iredell's Jordan Patterson, who dropped a double-double on 33 points and 12 boards.
