Hickory Ridge lost to Cox Mill last Tuesday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Ragin' Bulls were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Chargers. The result was nothing new for the Ragin' Bulls, who have now won five games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Hickory Ridge has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Cox Mill, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-6 record this season.

Hickory Ridge and Cox Mill could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings. The Ragin' Bulls (ranked 94th) will meet East Rowan (ranked 27th) at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Cox Mill will challenge Providence at 6:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (130 vs. 6).
