Basketball Recap: Ashton-Franklin Center Takes a Loss

Ashton-Franklin Center was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 61-30 loss at the hands of the Morrison Mustangs. The Raiders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-12.

They used a three-pronged attack on offense: Musi Mimini, Nolan Rueff, and Brock Lehman posted six points each.

Ashton-Franklin Center's loss dropped their record down to 7-17. As for Morrison, their victory bumped their record up to 8-17.

Ashton-Franklin Center wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 75-31 defeat against Eastland on the 1st. Morrison has also already played their next game (against Fulton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
