Bishop Gorman faced Foothill in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Gaels put the hurt on the Falcons with a sharp 3-0 win. The Gaels not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 17th (when they won 3-0).

Bishop Gorman not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Foothill between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-15, 25-18.

Ayanna Watson paced Bishop Gorman's offense, picking up 21 kills. Watson got some help from Trinity Thompson and her 34 assists. Chloe Lopez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Bishop Gorman has been performing well recently as they've won 20 of their last 24 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. As for Foothill, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-13.
