Soccer Recap: Campbell County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Scott on Tuesday, Campbell County came back down to earth. The Cougars lost 9-0 to the Knoxville Central Bobcats on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for Campbell County in their meetings with Knoxville Central: they've now lost eight in a row.

Campbell County's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Knoxville Central, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Campbell County will venture away from home to face off against Oliver Springs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Knoxville Central, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on St. Mary's Episcopal at 4:20 p.m. on September 13.
