Football Game Recap: Markesan vs. Palmyra-Eagle

Palmyra-Eagle came into their this week averaging 33.83 points per game, but Palmyra-Eagle fell well short of that average, and it cost them. They lost to Markesan by a decisive 6-26 margin. If Palmyra-Eagle were expecting to get some payback for the 28-49 loss against Markesan the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.

The defeat dropped Palmyra-Eagle's record to 5-2. The win bumped Markesan's record up to 5-3.

Palmyra-Eagle will take on Parkview at home at 7:00 PM next week. Parkview are limping into the game on a six-game losing streak. As for Markesan, they will face off against Rosholt. Rosholt took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Markesan's good fortune.
