The Allen Mustangs will head out to take on the Southwest Covenant Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Allen is coming into the contest hot, having won their last seven games.

Allen is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They snuck past Woodland with a 31-26 victory.

Quintin Box had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 55 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 190 yards and a pair of TDs on only 16 passes. What's more, he racked up 132.8 passer rating, the most he's had since back in September. Allen also got a significant boost from Noah Bray, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 81 yards.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Friday Southwest Covenant sidestepped Konawa for a 28-26 win. The victory continues a trend for the Patriots in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now won three in a row.

Southwest Covenant's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Allen, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 8-3.
