Recap: Pascack Valley vs. NV - Demarest
If the Pascack Valley Indians were riding high off their 71-47 takedown of Wood-Ridge on Saturday, that ride came to an abrupt end. Pascack Valley fell just short of the NV - Demarest Norsemen by a score of 48-44. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Demarest apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played, back in January.
The defeat dropped Pascack Valley's record to 6-11. The victory bumped Demarest's record up to 8-11.
Pascack Valley will take on Tenafly today. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close game. Demarest will look to defend their home court today against Dwight Morrow. Demarest isn't favored, but they just beat the odds this past contest, so don't count them out.
