Volleyball Game Preview: Denver Cyclones vs. Wapsie Valley Warriors

The Denver Cyclones will challenge the Wapsie Valley Warriors at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Denver will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

Back in October, Denver earned a 3-1 victory over Sumner-Fredericksburg.

While Denver might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Sumner-Fredericksburg scored at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-21, 23-25, 25-20.

Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Wapsie Valley had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights.

Denver better keep an eye on Kalle Voy. She was instrumental in Wapsie Valley's win, getting 21 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Voy has posted over her last seven contests.

Wapsie Valley's win bumped their record up to 24-17. As for Denver, their victory bumped their record up to 44-1.

Denver was able to grind out a solid win over Wapsie Valley when the teams last played back in October, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cyclones since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
